Ambel POS started in 2023 with a simple observation: Indian retailers were stitching together five different tools to run one store. We set out to build the one that does it all.
Ambel POS was founded by a small team of retail-tech engineers who kept seeing the same pattern: billing on one app, inventory on a spreadsheet, GST filing through a CA, every month, by hand. We set out to build the one system that connects billing, stock and compliance from the first sale, with guided setup so a store doesn't start from an empty screen.
We're headquartered in Bengaluru and building this store by store, working directly with the retailers who use it.
GST slabs, HSN codes, split payments across cash, card and UPI, and multi-shop stock are designed around how Indian retailers actually work, not adapted from a Western template.
Internet drops. Billing should not. If the line goes while the till is open, bills are saved on the counter machine and sent up the moment the connection returns.
When we suggest a reorder quantity, we show the reasoning behind it. When we do not have enough sales history to be sure, we say so rather than putting up a number we cannot stand behind.
Roadmap priorities come from store owners and cashiers using the product daily, not from a boardroom.
